How Will You Contribute to the Company?


Cradlepoint’s R&D team is looking for a seasoned and accomplished engineering leader with experience in Networking Technologies to fill a technical leadership position. You will work with a group of extremely high-performing and innovative Engineers who design, implement, and support world-class end-to-end solutions for Cloud-managed Wireless WAN edge infrastructure utilizing SD-WAN principles. This position will be instrumental in delivering the next generation of SD-WWAN for Cradlepoint endpoint devices. You will get the opportunity to work with the best and brightest engineers using cutting-edge technologies to deliver features that make a difference and delight our customers.


What Will You Do?

  • Lead multi-disciplined Agile team to design, implement, monitor, and support solutions for managing wireless WAN network devices
  • Build a team with competence in Networking and Cloud Automation
  • Drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on execution, quality, and speed
  • Evangelize the product vision internally and externally. Be able to represent the company, product, and team at all levels
  • Work closely with the product management organization to develop and deliver on roadmaps
  • Work closely with customer success to improve outcomes
  • Recognize process and product gaps early and be able to drive changes to achieve better outcomes
  • Ability to champion ideas and initiatives
  • Be a strong mentor and coach to the team
  • Foster innovation in the organization
  • Own one or more sub-system/module/service, design, build, test, deploy and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure applications in a cloud computing or datacenter edge environment
  • Provide software testing while ensuring quality assurance
  • Conduct performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation of systems
  • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality
  • Own end-to-end design, implementation, and CI/CD pipeline for software services
  • Collaborate across multi-site software service teams and provide expertise and best practices




Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
  • Five (5+) years of people management skills, including managing managers
  • Experience with managing teams across multiple geographies
  • Strong domain expertise in security, networking, and cloud
  • Experience with building and operating large-scale distributed systems, high-performance data path
  • Experience with Networking Protocols, SD-WAN, VXLAN, MPLS
  • Deep understanding of branch routing, VPNs, WAN optimization
  • The technical capacity to dive into the different parts of the stack encompassing the front end and backend
  • Flexibility to travel between Boise, Bangalore, and Los Gatos
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
