Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

 

Cradlepoint is actively seeking an inspiring hands-on leader to join the NetCloud SaaS Product team to define the vision for the next generation of our network management platform.  You will own the full life cycle from core user needs discovery through delivery.  You’ll be expected to think through all aspects of the product including understanding customers and existing solutions in the market, and of course, how to make great, intuitive capabilities that customers love.  You will manage and coach a team of product managers and product Owners and set the direction and vision for the NetCloud SaaS platform.  You’ll get to partner with teams across Cradlepoint to deliver on your product strategy to deliver bold innovation that drives transformational customer growth.  This position can be located at our headquarters in Boise, Idaho, Cradlepoint’s Silicon Valley office, or a remote location.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Provide Cradlepoint NetCloud users with the next generation of capabilities to build and manage their network(s) through an intuitive and easy user experience.
  • Define and deliver a competitive network visibility service that provides a more complete product experience for our users.
  • Define and drive a one and three (1&3) year roadmap that focuses on solving important customer problems, transforms the customer experience, and drives great business results.
  • Work with your partners across engineering and other teams, and establish a track record of delivery on the roadmap(s) you own based on customer feedback, business value, data, and market needs.
  • Invest in a high-performing team and culture by recruiting, coaching, engaging, and retaining a great product management team.
  • Foster strong cross-functional team dynamics that bring diverse teams together where inclusion fuels customer innovation.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across product, marketing, sales, risk, compliance, legal, partnerships, and finance to direct planning and execution across the full product lifecycle.
  • Drive winning results for customers and the business by making fast, data-driven decisions, aligning and staffing teams on what’s most important, and taking extreme ownership for outcomes.
  • Be able to say “no,” and explain why in terms that stakeholders understand based on analysis, data, and business objectives.
  • Be transparent about your prioritization, design, and roadmap process.
  • Will establish clear expectations, goals, and achievement milestones for your team while providing input to Manager and Executive Staff on strategic objectives to ensure the Company's profitability and success.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Seven (7+) years of relevant combined product management leadership and personnel management experience preferably in an Enterprise networking/Security infrastructure company. At least three (3+) years of experience in managing teams
  • Solid experience in building or operating large-scale IP networks
  • Deep understanding of how enterprises build their LAN and WAN networks from SMB to large Enterprises
  • Intimate knowledge of how Cloud networking is transforming the way Enterprises are building their WAN’s
  • Ability to understand technical details and practical business application of how Enterprises centrally manage and support a geographically diverse network to align product vision and roadmap
  • Experience stewarding a transformative product strategy for the organization, including defining the organizational structure aligned to priorities to drive great results
  • Passion for recruiting, coaching, and engaging great product management talent and investing in the product management community
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior leaders and stakeholders to share progress, recognition, and drive change
  • Data-backed synthesis of customer behavior and product line performance; Able to communicate the customer narrative to influence others to make customer-backed decisions and take fast action
  • Energy and compassion that focuses others on what is most important, with masterful change management communication and execution
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: be innovative and willing and able to challenge the status quo, as well as be a reasoned risk taker who makes data-driven decisions
  • Growth mindset, with the ability to coach and mentor your product management team in their craft and lead by example
  • Ability to travel up to twenty (20%) (post-pandemic) if not located in Boise
