Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

 

Cradlepoint is actively seeking a qualified individual for a Technical Product Owner role that offers the ability to build upon your technical knowledge to shape the business direction and product offering to create a best in class customer experience. Using an Agile-Scrum development model, you will be working with R&D, IS, Operations, Sales, and Marketing daily to quickly define, build, test, and iterate on external features as well as internal automation and tools to improve efficiency and scale. This key role drives velocity internally and delivers value externally to the marketplace. It is a dynamic position that understands our customers, partners, business, along with internal teams and processes to ensure what we build provides product value and solves customer problems whiledeliveringiterativelywith innovation, consistency, and teamwork. You will be an important contributor to cross-functional problem solving, program coordination, continuous exploration, and value delivery for our customers and the business.

What Will You Do?

As a Technical Product Owner, you leverage your understanding of networking, SD-WAN, cloud technologies, wireless WAN, LTE, Cradlepoint services, and customer pain points combined with your project management, product management, and agile development skills to introduce cutting edge product features with Engineering that make a direct impact on the success of Cradlepoint. 

  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Act like a project manager andrepresentthe voice of the customer simultaneously while working with engineering to deliver easy to use solutions
  • Prioritize team’s sprint backlog, participate in sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint review, and retrospective meetings
  • Uncover and understand customer technical needs then translate them into requirements and distills them into actionable stories
  • Understand how to be flexible when requirements change with time and how to adapt the changes without breaking cadence of the agile team
  • Share and communicate feedback effectively so that it will lead the team to the success path
  • Be a technical evangelist and business subject matter expert in their initiative’s value, use cases, and related customer problemstotrain support, sales, and marketing
  • Build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders
  • Ensure that product management, marketing, support, and sales have what they need to be successful

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three (3+) years of relevant experience in networkingtechnology
  • Bachelor’s degreeor equivalent experience required  
  • Experience and solid knowledge of Networking Infrastructure, Protocols,SD-WANControllers, Application-aware routing, WAN optimization, as well astraditional routing, switching and wireless
  • Experience with networking, troubleshooting, IT security, SaaS, or Cloud Platforms
  • Understand and speak the networking language (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi,Latency, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
  • Strong ability to understand both technical details and practical business use of applications
  • Excellentverbal and writtencommunication skills
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions,recommendations,and drive actions

 Bonus Points: 

  • Experience delivering products in an agile development environment; including the ability to translate requirements into user stories

Compensation and Benefits at Cradlepoint

At Cradlepoint, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.

 

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below.  The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

 

  • $88,606-$154,482

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint’s Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Time:

Your work-life balance is important to us. Cradlepoint provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays).  Please note that an employees FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date.   Cradlepoint also offers paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
