Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

 

The Senior Manager of Internal Communications & Employee Engagement is a high energy, resourceful and creative individual responsible for developing and executing dynamic and strategic internal communication programs that inspire employee engagement and support our Business Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) values and culture. 

 

This person will develop, manage, and implement internal communication strategies and programs that engage employees as active participants in our global community; help them stay informed and aligned to our vision, strategy, priorities, and people programs; and encourage active dialogue across the company - leading to greater innovation, diversity, and inclusion.  

 

Your daily mission will be to create compelling, succinct communications that grab employees’ attention and help streamline and prioritize the volume of news and information they receive every day. This person will be responsible for developing and managing editorial content across multiple communication channels, including our corporate intranet, Slack, and MS teams. In addition, this person will help drive critical People team programs that impact our employee base.  

 

This person will be highly collaborative and will partner effectively with other members of the People team and key functional stakeholders across Ericsson. The individual will be a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and passionate about culture and community. This person is a self-starter with a creative edge that thrives in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment and is not afraid to take risks. 

 

What Will You Do?

  • Help direct the overall Business Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) global internal communications strategy, planning, and execution across the organization
  • Serve as editor-in-chief across company intranet and social properties to ensure alignment of employee-focused content & programs around the world
  • Build culture content in the form of employee profiles and videos to show the best of who we are
  • Help streamline, consolidate, and ensure all internal communications are on brand and contain consistent messaging aligning to our strategic vision and goals
  • Create and manage internal communication governance guidelines, including the integration of an internal email tool, a set of communication mailboxes, streamlining distribution lists, and the look & feel of BEWS internal comms
  • Bring together key People team events such as our Quarterly Leadership Forums and Block Parties
  • Partner across our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) team to amplify programs that showcase our commitments to creating an inclusive culture
  • Provide strategic input on messaging and positioning and influence stakeholders, as needed, to ensure communications are compelling and aligned with our culture and tone
  • Establish company best practices and tools for internal communications and regularly research new approaches and industry best practices
  • Build our quarterly metrics to show progress against our Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and adapt as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Five to seven (5-7+) years of experience in corporate communications or HR, with a focus on internal and executive communications
  • Three (3+) years of experience with managing internal change management and culture-building communications and programs
  • Three (3+)years of experience using email service platforms such as Poppulo, Cerkl, Marketo, Eloqua, etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced level proficiency with various Microsoft O365 applications: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Slack & Yammer
  • Experience with using video for internal engagement, with editing and photoshoot experience
  • Occasional travel to office locations for internal event support and to attend company events

 

Bonus Points: 

  • Photoshop and image editing experience
  • Video editing 
  • HTML experience – troubleshooting and editing
  • Experience with the technical aspects of Outlook email and email service platform integration
  • Experience working with metrics and report data and suggesting changes and improvements based on results

Compensation and Benefits at Cradlepoint

At Cradlepoint, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.

 

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below.  The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

 

  • $124,657-$217,098

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint’s Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Time:

Your work-life balance is important to us. Cradlepoint provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays).  Please note that an employees FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date.   Cradlepoint also offers paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
